YOUR LIFE IS SHAPED BY YOUR THOUGHTS

Proverbs 4:23 (Good News Translation) "Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts."Our lives are shaped by how we think. How we think determines what we will become. What we think forms our belief system. Our belief system influences what we say and alters our genes. What we say alters our will and emotions, which in turn influences our action plan.What we say is always from what we have been thinking - our thought life.Four sources influence our thought life and our belief system:1. God's thoughts2. Our parent's thoughts3. Society (Western and Eastern)4. Satan's thoughtsThese four sources form the environment that influences our thought life—our belief system. We perceive many things from these environments—some are true, and others are false. Often, what we perceive influences our belief system, and there are things we have perceived that are not facts or Bible truths.We must always judge what we perceive with the Word of God and with the Holy Spirit dwelling inside us. There are many things in life that are not directly stated in the Bible, whether they are right or wrong. So we need to listen and be led by the Holy Spirit on the inside of us. He will guide us into all truth and He will teach us all things.We must reject anything we perceive that is against or not in line with the Word of God.It all begins with our thought life and will shape our life.Satan deceived Eve by his suggestion, that was contrary to what God had already said.
